FullStack Engineer – Paris
The FullStack Engineer will play an active role in designing, developing, and maintaining a new product for Entrust’s Instant Financial Issuance solution. The product is a web application integrated into a payment marketplace, and you will also work on back‑office and customer onboarding applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, deploy, debug, and implement Java/Spring Boot software applications and services.
- Apply Agile (Scrum) methodology to track progress and enforce project standards.
- Engage in secure development life cycle practices, threat modeling, and web application security assessments.
- Participate in requirements definition, documentation, and code reviews.
- Contribute to work estimation by defining tasks, duration, and concurrent effort.
- Assist with production escalation and problem resolution.
- Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD environments.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with the team.
- Adopt a process‑oriented mindset and confidently share skills with team members.
- Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and eliminate bottlenecks.
Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline.
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and 3 years with Angular.
- 3+ years of experience with basic Web Technology such as HTML and CSS.
- 2+ years of experience with Java and Python backend development.
- 1+ year of experience with Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of business objects, layered design, data access objects, and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with SaaS development and deployment.
- Experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Autonomous yet collaborative team player, not afraid of challenges.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver results.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in engineering.
- Experience in an SDLC environment.
- Experience developing commercial/external software products.
