Fullstack Engineer - Paris

Mission

The FullStack Engineer will take an active role in the design, development and maintenance of a new important product for Entrust Instant Financial Issuance solution. This new product will be a web application that will be integrated in a payment marketplace. You will also be working on our back office and on a customer onboarding application. The qualified candidate will work with minimal supervision and utilize knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, deploy, debug, and implement Java/Spring Boot software applications and services.
• Effectively apply Agile (Scrum) methodology to track progress and enforce project standards.
• Knowledgeable about secure development life cycle, threat modeling, and web application security assessments.
• Participate in requirements definition, documentation, and code reviews.
• Contribute to the estimation of work for the team by defining task breakdown, project duration and concurrent effort.
• Assist in production escalation and problem resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD environments.
• Function independently with project assignments and with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit a process-oriented mindset.
• Confidently interact and share skills with team members.
• Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results.

Basic Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Javascript/Typescript and 3 years with Angular.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with basic Web Technology like HTML and CSS.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with JAVA and Python backend developments.
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with agile methodologies, and tools.
• Understand concepts of business objects, layered design, data access objects, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, and SQL languages.
• Experience with SaaS development and deployment.
• Experience with Jenkins and Gitlab.
• Autonomous but real team player, not afraid of challenges.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Contribute to the estimation of work by defining task breakdown, project duration, and concurrent effort.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Master's degree in engineering.
• Experience in SDLC environment.
• Experience with SaaS development and deployment.
• Experience developing a commercial/external software product.
