Position

English-speaking Chemistry Teacher — starting September 2026, Paris, 15e arrondissement.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Chemistry and Science to middle and/or high school students in English, notably in the context of the IB diploma.
  • Develop engaging, student-centered lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary learning.
  • Participate in the broader life of the school, including meetings, projects, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in English.
  • Degree in Chemistry or related field (Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching qualification and relevant classroom experience.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multicultural community.

Desirable

  • International teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with inquiry-based or bilingual education.
