Full Stack Developer

Your Mission

We seek a highly skilled Full Stack Developer who is comfortable with frontend and backend development in cloud based environments like AWS or Google Cloud. You will conduct code reviews to guarantee system consistency and flawless user experience. You’re a great fit for this role if you are proficient in modern front-end and multiple back end languages, cloud services, and the latest security practices. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be required to manage a project from conception to final go live, requiring good organizational + collaboration skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Design and develop user-facing web applications using modern frontend languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and frameworks like React.js and Angular.

• Backend Development: Build and maintain server-side logic and/or micro-services using languages such as Node.js, Python, and manage database/ document interactions with PostgreSQL, Redis, S3 or other database systems.

• API/Microservices Development and Integration: Develop and integrate APIs to connect frontend and backend components, to manage data flow and communication between different parts of the application.

• Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.

• Version Control and Collaboration: Use Git and other version control systems to track code changes and collaborate with other team developers.

• Deployment and DevOps: Automate deployment processes, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure the scalability and reliability of application through CI/CD pipelines and robust build processes.

• Security Implementation: Implement security best practices to protect the application from vulnerabilities, including authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.

• Cross-Platform Optimization: Ensure the application is responsive and optimized for different devices, platforms, and browsers.

• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance issues in the application, ensuring a smooth user experience by implementing clean issue tracking via Sentry and other logging systems.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

• Curiosity and Learning: Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to improve development practices continuously.

What you will bringBackground and Skills:4-5 years of proven experience in working with key technical languages, frameworks and cloud technologies.Strong organization skills and familiarity with development and deployment methodologies.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Exposure to Insurance or financial segment in past professional experience is a plus.Technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex systems, potentially including specific technologies, software, and hardware relevant to the industry.Experience in delivering and managing production ready applications and SaaS services using cloud technologies from AWS, Google Cloud and/or Microsoft Azure.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
