About This Job Opportunity
We are seeking a French Payroll Specialist responsible for the entire payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all statutory requirements.

The French Payroll Specialist will ensure the accuracy of payroll and payroll-related information following all established statutory requirements and managing the payroll process. The ideal candidate is strongly oriented to high-quality data and results. Clear and accurate communication with clients and with the internal operations team should be performed according to the internal procedures.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage all payroll activities in line with the monthly payroll calendar and submit the payroll figures monthly.
- Ensure the payrolls comply with French legislation and statutory requirements.
- Reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payroll.
- Research discrepancies in payroll information and / or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing.
- Validate the payroll outputs.
- Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
- Analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
- Prepare the monthly payroll reports and upload them to CP platform.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure that the handover of new payrolls is transferred to the In-House team successfully.
Experience Needed For This Role
- English and French speaking is essential. English level: B2.
- Expert level of knowledge of local legal requirements, statutory forms, and reporting.
- Expert level in complex payrolls (BIK, stock options/RSU, non-residents, court order…).
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing at a specialist level.
- Proficient in business software experience required: Excel, Word, Email Apps, Microsoft Apps.
- Good decision-making skills and forward-thinking, able to plan and organize own workload.
- Knowledge of TeamsRH software would be advantageous.
- Experience working in an international environment would be an advantage.
