Position: Multilingual Prompt Designer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $25–$30/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 2+ months

Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Author French/English prompt–golden answer pairs to train and evaluate advanced language models.
• Create detailed prompts in French and/or English with constraints and instructions for real-world relevance.
• Define and document evaluation standards for French consumer contexts, developing rubrics for linguistic nuance.
• Run prompts through models, assessing outputs for accuracy, fluency, and cultural fit in French.
• Collaborate in QA review processes to ensure consistency and reliability across French-language benchmarks.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while contributing to a high-impact AI research project.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native-level fluency in French (written) with strong reading/writing ability in English.
• BS or BA from a reputable institution (completed or in progress).
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar tools for personal decision-making.
• Based in France or able to produce France-specific, culturally accurate French.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching, research, editing, or academic writing.
• Experience creating evaluation criteria, rubrics, or grading guidelines.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompting, or model evaluation.

• Complete an AI-led interview (about 15 minutes).
• Complete a 45-minute written assessment focused on writing and rubric creation.
