We are looking for an experienced Test Project Leader for a leading European Union Agency and coordinate testing activities for large-scale IT projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business and technical requirements. The role requires strong expertise in test management, quality assurance, testing methodologies, and stakeholder coordination within complex and multicultural environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all functional and non-functional testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define, plan, and execute comprehensive test strategies aligned with project objectives.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor Quality Management processes and standards.
- Participate in requirements analysis and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Review and validate Test Summary Reports and testing evidence.
- Provide expert recommendations and formally accept or reject testing deliverables.
- Define and coordinate end-user testing (UAT) strategies and activities.
- Maintain testing documentation and quality assurance records.
- Provide quality assurance guidance and support to project stakeholders.
- Chair meetings, prepare reports, and present testing progress, risks, and results.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and end users.
- Ensure compliance with testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Support testing activities in modern cloud-native and containerized environments
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience managing large-scale testing projects.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end testing activities in complex IT environments.
- Experience working within Agile software development and testing environments.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams.
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of the software testing lifecycle.
- Strong experience with test planning, execution, reporting, and quality governance.
- Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Relevant experience with Test Management tools.
- Strong experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium and/or Tosca.
- Knowledge of test automation strategies and continuous testing practices.
- Knowledge of containerized solutions and modern software architectures.
- Experience working with observability and monitoring tools.
- Good understanding of software development methodologies.
- Good project and contract management knowledge.
- Ability to define testing strategies and quality assurance frameworks.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to assess testing evidence and validate project deliverables.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to chair meetings and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously while coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with European Institutions, EU Agencies, or international organizations.
- Knowledge of modern test automation practices and continuous testing approaches.
- ISTQB Advanced Level certification or equivalent.
Languages
- English (minimum B2/C1 level, both written and spoken).
