Freelance Buyer – High-End Automotive Project

Overview

We are currently supporting a unique low-volume automotive project based in Roquebrune-sur-Argens (South of France) and are looking for an experienced Freelance Buyer to join the team. This role is ideal for someone coming from motorsport, prototype, luxury automotive or low-volume manufacturing environments, with strong supplier coordination and purchasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and purchasing activities for automotive components and workshop needs
• Coordinate suppliers, lead times and deliveries
• Support prototype and low-volume vehicle build activities
• Negotiate pricing and supplier conditions
• Ensure availability of parts and materials in fast-moving project environments
• Work closely with workshop, engineering and operations teams

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, motorsport or prototype environments
• Strong supplier management and purchasing background
• Ability to work in agile and less structured environments
• Hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent English required – French and/or Italian is a plus
• Freelance collaboration preferred
