France Market HR Lead: Strategic Partner to Execs

As Market HR Lead, you will partner directly with senior leadership, lead a team across HR Business Partnering, and play a critical role in shaping people strategy. You will operate at the intersection of business performance and labour complexity, with significant exposure to works councils (CSE) and organisational decision-making.

This is a high-visibility role combining strategic influence with hands-on execution, suited to someone who thrives in complexity and wants real ownership and impact.

• Act as the lead HR partner to senior leadership in France, shaping and delivering the people strategy aligned to business priorities
• Own and drive all partnering activity across France, including direct engagement with works councils (CSE) and complex labour topics
• Lead organisational design, workforce planning, and restructuring initiatives to support business growth and efficiency
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and Employee Advisors, driving high performance and alignment
• Provide expert guidance on French employment law, balancing compliance with commercial outcomes
• Partner cross-functionally with regional and EMEA stakeholders within a matrix organisation
• Identify organisational risks and opportunities, proactively driving solutions that improve performance, engagement, and scalability

• Significant HR Business Partnering experience within France, ideally in an international or matrixed organisation
• Strong expertise in French employment law, including direct experience working with works councils (CSE)
• Proven experience leading or developing HR teams, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in organisational design, workforce planning, and supporting business transformation
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance business needs and people considerations
• Fluent in French and English
