Role Summary
Senior FP&A leader who builds and owns the company's financial planning and analysis, driving budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics to guide strategy and capital allocation. Reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with Product, GMs, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the budget and rolling reforecast: a single driver‑based 3‑statement model you build yourself and can flex live in a meeting.
- Set the company's finance cadence: own the monthly close‑to‑report cycle, the 13‑week cash flow and a lean PDCA rhythm that becomes the standard.
- Build the unit‑economics and cohort instrumentation: CAC, LTV, payback and contribution margin by product, in a dashboard squads and business leads open weekly.
- Partner across the company: be the “difficult questions” partner to the Head of Product, PMs, GMs and business leads, bringing cash discipline and ending debates with data.
- Lay the foundations: define the tooling, methodology and future hiring plan for finance as it scales.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on modeler: personally built a driver‑based 3‑statement model and a budget/reforecast, not via a team.
- Lead seat: served as the lead or most senior FP&A person in an organization, owning the full agenda and cadence.
- DRI ownership: owned FP&A end‑to‑end through full cycles (close, leadership reporting) with the deadline on your shoulders.
- Unit‑economics fluency: built CAC / LTV / payback for a subscription or multi‑product business and used it to change a decision.
- Leadership exposure: reported into or partnered directly with company leadership and cross‑functional leads (Product, GMs).
- Data‑native: clean, auditable models, and comfortable pulling your own data (SQL / BigQuery a strong plus).
- AI builder: already shipped AI‑assisted finance workflows others use.
Nice to Have
- Regulated fintech or payment‑institution exposure (capital adequacy, liquidity, MIFID / MiCA reporting concepts).
- Modern finance/data stack (dbt, Looker, Pigment).
- Built a fundraising or due‑diligence data room.
- Early finance hiring or function‑building experience.
Benefits
- A high‑performing team: work with A‑players across every discipline, in an environment that challenges you and helps you grow fast.
- Ownership from day one: freedom, responsibility, and trust. We hire for talent and get out of the way.
- Impact that matters: build a product that helps people take control of their financial future.
- A hybrid setup: teammates across France and Europe, meeting in person in Paris six times a year.
- Competitive compensation: a package aligned with your experience and impact (80 K € – 90 K € + meaningful equity).
- Top‑of‑the‑line tooling: MacBook Pro and every AI subscription you need.
- Paris or fully remote across Europe, with a full‑company onsite in Paris every six to eight weeks (travel and accommodation covered).
- Health coverage: Alan in France, international equivalents elsewhere.
- Learning budget: books, courses, conferences, and a product you'll actually use.
Compensation Range
80 K € – 90 K € + meaningful equity.
