Founding UX Product Designer & User Researcher Lead
Tasks
UX Design:
Own the end-to-end design process: from problem framing and concept exploration through wireframes, prototypes and polished UI.
Design interactions for AI-native learning experiences where traditional UX patterns don't always apply: conversational interfaces, agent-driven workflows, adaptive content.
Maintain Raison's design system: components, tokens, patterns, and guidelines that scale with the product and team.
Create high-fidelity prototypes for testing and stakeholder alignment using Figma (or your tool of choice).
Work hand-in-hand with engineers to ensure what ships matches what was designed.
User Research:
Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research: user interviews, contextual inquiries, usability tests, surveys, and diary studies.
Build and maintain a deep understanding of our core users: learners, trainers, instructional designers, and institutional administrators.
Synthesize research into actionable insights: personas, journey maps, jobs-to-be-done frameworks, and opportunity assessments.
Champion the user's perspective in every product decision.
Establish a continuous discovery practice so research is a foundational habit.
Product Strategy:
Collaborate with the founders and engineering team to shape the product roadmap based on user evidence.
Define and track UX metrics that reflect real learning outcomes and user satisfaction.
Contribute to product strategy conversations as an equal partner.
