Founding Team Collaborator
Company Description
Enzale is an early-stage biotech initiative exploring enzymatic recycling technologies for the fashion and streetwear industries.
Our goal is to transform plastic and textile waste, including PET and nylon, into high-quality building blocks for creating circular materials for garments, footwear, accessories, and future consumer products.
Based in Paris, Enzale sits at the intersection of biotechnology, material innovation, circular fashion, and brand collaboration. We are focused on advancing research in enzymatic recycling, exploring how regenerated materials can enter the fashion value chain, and building partnerships with brands that want to create meaningful impact.
Our long‑term vision is to connect innovative biotechnology with culture, design, and fashion, enabling the creation of premium collections made with truly circular materials.
Role Description
Important: This is an unpaid, part‑time, founding‑stage collaboration opportunity. It is not a salaried employment position at this stage.
We are looking for a Founding Collaborator to join Enzale at the very beginning of its journey.
This is a remote, flexible opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to an early‑stage venture focused on biotechnology, circular materials, and the future of fashion. You will help shape different parts of the project, from research and strategy to partnerships, storytelling, and product development.
Depending on your background, you may contribute to areas such as researching enzymatic recycling methods, exploring applications for recycled PET and nylon in fashion, identifying potential brand partners, supporting outreach, helping develop the Enzale narrative, or contributing to early product and material concepts.
This is not a traditional job. It is an opportunity to be close to the foundation of a company, contribute your skills and ideas, and help build something meaningful from the ground up.
We fully understand that unpaid collaboration is not possible for everyone, and we respect that. This opportunity is best suited for someone who can contribute a few hours per week, believes in the mission, and wants to grow with Enzale as the project develops.
What You May Work On
We do not expect one person to do everything. We are looking for founding collaborators who can contribute in one or more focused areas, depending on their background and interests.
Science and Materials
For people with experience or interest in biotechnology, materials science, enzymatic recycling, polymers, textiles, or circular materials.
You may help research enzymatic recycling approaches, map relevant technologies and labs, explore PET and nylon recycling applications, and translate scientific concepts into clear language.
Fashion, Product, and Partnerships
For people interested in fashion, streetwear, footwear, accessories, product development, brand collaborations, or business development.
You may help identify relevant brands, explore product applications for circular materials, research market opportunities, and support early outreach to partners.
Brand and Storytelling
For people interested in branding, content, communications, design, marketing, or storytelling.
You may help shape Enzale’s narrative, create content for LinkedIn or pitch materials, and communicate why enzymatic recycling matters for the future of fashion.
Operations and Venture Building
For people who enjoy structure, organisation, planning, and early‑stage execution.
You may help organise research, contacts, documents, timelines, and priorities so the project can move faster and more clearly.
When applying, please mention which area best matches your background and how you would like to contribute.
