The Opportunity

We are hiring a Founding Sales Director – a true hunter and builder who thrives in high‑growth environments. This person will begin as an individual contributor focused on generating and closing net‑new business, while laying the groundwork for a scalable sales organization.

You will partner directly with the founder/CEO, inherit a warm market reputation, and take ownership of sales execution. As the company grows, this role has a clear path to VP of Sales with responsibility for hiring, developing, and leading a team.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full‑cycle enterprise sales from prospecting through close
  • Generate pipeline quickly through existing relationships, outbound strategy, referrals, and market presence
  • Leverage conferences, events, and speaking engagements that have historically produced highly qualified, fast‑converting opportunities
  • Target large provider groups, MSOs, physician platforms, ambulatory organizations, and billing companies
  • Partner with founder leadership to transition founder‑led sales into a repeatable, scalable motion
  • Develop messaging, sales process, qualification criteria, and pipeline discipline from the ground up
  • Navigate complex buying cycles with multiple stakeholders across operations, finance, and executive leadership
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and provide market feedback to product and leadership teams
  • Help define future hiring plans and organizational design for the sales team

Proven Sales Motion

  • Sales can be conducted entirely via Zoom, enabling efficient national reach and rapid deal progression
  • Conferences, events, and thought leadership engagements are proven lead sources
  • Strong brand recognition creates warm introductions and accelerated trust with buyers
  • High‑conviction buyers with clear ROI use cases drive efficient close rates

Typical Sales Cycles

  • Smaller / Mid‑Sized Clients: ~2‑8 weeks
  • Larger Clients: ~6 weeks to ~3 months
  • Very Large Enterprise Clients: 3+ months depending on organizational complexity and stakeholder alignment

Ideal Background

  • 7+ years of B2B healthcare sales experience with strong success in enterprise selling
  • Proven track record selling into provider organizations, physician groups, RCM teams, billing companies, or adjacent healthcare operations buyers
  • Existing network / "rolodex" of decision‑makers in revenue cycle and provider operations
  • Experience carrying and exceeding quota in consultative, complex sales environments
  • Comfortable building process where little exists today – self‑starter mentality is essential
  • Executive presence with ability to sell to CEOs, CFOs, Revenue Cycle leaders, and Operations executives
  • Experience in startup or high‑growth environments strongly preferred
