Founding AI Engineer

At Timper, engineers help decide what gets built in the real world. We’re on a mission to help build what the world needs by creating an AI operating partner for real estate development. Our platform turns regulations, permits, zoning plans, local sentiments, geospatial layers, public inquiries, and fragmented documents into a digital twin that AI can reason over reliably.
Our founders bring experience from Tesla, Deloitte Real Estate, Cleary Gottlieb, Greenomy (exited), Harvard, and McKinsey. We are backed by Seedcamp, Kima Ventures, TinyVC, and angels from ElevenLabs, Stripe, and other real‑estate executives.
You’ll work directly with the founders—no layers or middle management. You’ll own real systems, solve problems without existing playbooks, speak with users, and ship continuously. We hire for raw intelligence, velocity, and hunger to build.
Responsibilities
- Build product across frontend, backend, data, and AI systems.
- Design and ship features end‑to‑end, from first idea to production, in days, not months.
- Work with messy real‑world data: PDFs, GIS layers, regulations, scraped sources, APIs.
- Improve system performance, reliability, security, and developer experience.
- Talk to users often and turn pain points into shipped product quickly.
- Help shape engineering culture, standards, and how we build this company from the ground up.
