Neuralk-AI is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the integration of our solution into client ecosystems.

You will report to both founders of Neuralk and will be located in our Paris offices.

Neuralk is a deep-tech company building the next generation of Foundation Models for Data Science. Our mission is to build the predictive layer for businesses, transforming data science from a series of one-off initiatives, stitched together across silos, overly bespoke, and dependent on a handful of specialists, into a durable capability: a scalable predictive infrastructure that continuously learns from an organization’s data and powers decisions across the enterprise.

Our product is a Data Science agent, powered by our Foundation Models, that assists data scientists throughout their workflow, from problem framing to robust, production-ready models. We focus on the hardest and most common data problems in companies: structured datasets describing customers, operations, risks or financial activity.

Mission Highlights

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Neuralk, you'll be on the frontlines of turning our AI platform into real-world impact. You’ll work hand-in-hand with strategic clients to deliver end-to-end AI workflows — from raw data to actionable predictions — using our API. Your responsibilities will span the full deployment lifecycle: scoping business needs, aligning data strategy, orchestrating pipeline integration, and driving adoption across teams. You’ll serve as the bridge between technical capabilities and business objectives — part strategist, part solution architect, and part project lead. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how cutting-edge AI is applied in real-world retail environments — influencing both client success and the future direction of our product.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Neuralk-AI, you’ll sit at the intersection of client strategy, data product delivery, and technical implementation. Your mission: help our most strategic partners turn raw commerce data into measurable business value through our tabular AI platform. You’ll work directly with client teams to understand their goals, scope high-impact use cases, and orchestrate end-to-end deployments powered by our API. You are both a builder and a problem-solver — with a product mindset and the ability to translate technical capabilities into real-world outcomes. You will be responsible for:

• Client Success & Strategic Impact: Own the full deployment lifecycle, from use case scoping to production rollout. Serve as the primary technical partner — helping define workflows, align on business KPIs, and ensure measurable value is delivered.
• Project Delivery & Management: Scope work, lead technical planning sessions, sequence execution, manage priorities, track progress, and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge product, engineering, and customer teams to ensure a smooth, aligned deployment experience. Translate field feedback into actionable insights that shape our product roadmap.
• Customer Enablement & Support: Onboard client teams and provide ongoing support through documentation, training, and guidance — driving product adoption across technical and non-technical users.
• Client Deployment & Integration: Customize, configure, and deploy Neuralk-AI’s API in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments. Design scalable, secure architectures integrated with client infrastructure, partnering with our technical team.
• Solution Prototyping & Customization: When needed, design and prototype tailored technical solutions — often full-stack — using tools like Python, React/Next.js, Node.js, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Continuous Improvement: Gather and relay real-world deployment insights to influence product evolution.

Profile

• M.S in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience with software development, engineering and technical deployment
• Strong Engineering background in Machine Learning (Evaluation, Training, Problem Decomposition)
• Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• Simplify complexity and make fast, sound decisions under pressure
• Communicate clearly with engineers, product teams, and customer stakeholders. Excellent communication skills in English.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
• Self-starter and autonomous.
• You have demonstrated experience in integrating product in custom client environment.
• Experience in developing and deploying in multi-cloud setup.
• Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or similar role at Palantir or another vertical AI company

Expertise

• Software Development : Excellent software engineering skills in Python and C/C++, with experience in software development best practices, semantic versioning and version control systems such as Git.
• API & Backend : 3+ years building and maintaining production-grade APIs using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django REST Framework (Python).
• Deployment & Integration: Strong understanding of multi-environment deployment strategies (cloud, on-premises, hybrid) and system integration challenges.
• Rapid prototyping mindset : Comfortable iterating quickly, shipping MVPs under ambiguity, and adapting based on feedback.
• Data Management and Storage : Knowledge of various database formats (including SQL and NoSQL databases), data warehousing solutions, and data management best practices.
• Scripting & Automation: Comfortable writing maintainable Bash/Shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to serve as a technical liaison between client teams and internal engineering/product teams.
• Frontend Development: Experience (3+ years) building interactive, component-driven front-end applications using TypeScript and React (Optional).
