Forward Deployed Engineer (Italy)

These capabilities change every preconception about ERPs, enabling deployments at speeds previously impossible.

About the Role

We are hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineer for the Italian market , a key growing market for us, who will be responsible for managing the onboarding and deployment of our Italian customers on Bonx. The role is based in Paris with occasional travel.

Your Responsibilities

• Own customer deployments end-to-end. Target is to onboard each customer on an ambitious scope in under 6 months, technically and operationally.
• Configure the platform. Set up workflows, data models, and integrations for each customer with speed and precision.
• Make product contributions using agentic coding tools. When gaps arise, contribute fixes or features using AI-assisted development tools.
• Support pre-sales. Run demos and technical scoping with Italian prospects and help close the deals you later deploy.
• Help build a scalable deployment machine. Document what works, systematize repeatable parts, and raise the ceiling of what a small team can deploy.

You’re a Great Fit If You Have

• You speak Italian (fluent or native); English fluency is required. French is not mandatory.
• You’re deeply into AI, spend at least 30% of your day using it, and have hands-on experience building AI systems (AI agents with tooling, AI-enabled workflows, etc.).
• 3–6 years of experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, or software development, with a track record of shipping and customer success.
• Experience working on-site with customers and managing stakeholders under pressure.
• An understanding that a scalable product is the endgame—configuring and coding with that in mind.
• Willingness to relocate to Paris (if not already residing there) and travel to customer sites in Italy.

This Role Is Not for You If

• You’re not comfortable being the most technical person in the room with a customer and the most customer-aware person in the codebase.
• You’re not obsessed with speed and tangible results; deploying an ERP live in 30 days requires speed and intensity.
• You have limited AI experience, e.g., only occasional use of ChatGPT.
