Flight Test Technician M/F

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Test Installation Technician (f/m) to join our Support Aircraft department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing flight test installations for development and series aircraft. As part of the Flight Test Center, you will be involved in preparing, deploying, and maintaining Flight Test Instrumentation aiming at ensuring the delivery of capable installations and high-quality test data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and integrate ground flight test installations prior to delivery and deployment.
• Set up, verify, and configure test installations before operations (static, engine run, flights) to guarantee data quality.
• Retrieve data and gather flight engineer feedback post-flight to identify and track potential issues.
• Update tracking tools accurately and monitor troubleshooting actions until complete defect resolution.
• Maintain test installations, draft technical documentation, and participate in external missions when required.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience as a test technician or in a similar technical role.
• Technical expertise in instrumentation, sensors, signal processing, and system testing.
• Solid knowledge of electronics, IT, avionics, and multi-ATA aircraft systems operations.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills, autonomous mindset, and language proficiency: negotiation level in French and intermediate level in English.
