Your role
You will develop the fly‑by‑wire Flight Control System (FCS) of our aircraft ATEA, focusing on hardware and software related to the Flight Control System. Reporting to the Overall System Design Leader, you will ensure that the flight control software and architecture comply with certification, operational and performance requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Master the current fly‑by‑wire FCS architecture and its evolutions.
- Design and develop the FCS software taking into account safety and performance requirements.
- Elaborate high‑level specifications and low‑level specifications.
- Secure interfaces with teams: Avionics, Software Integration, Hybrid Propulsion, etc.
- Define verification and validation procedures for the FCS software, from digital models to hardware‑in‑the-loop test benches (HIL).
- Verify and validate the FCS software up to the flight test campaign.
Qualifications & Profile
Job is ideal if you have a Swiss‑Army‑knife attitude toward technical challenges, are autonomous, proactive, and meet the mandatory qualifications:
- 8+ years of demonstrated expertise in aircraft or helicopter fault‑tolerant fly‑by‑wire architecture.
- 8+ years of proven design experience in fault detection and reconfiguration algorithms of multiple sensors, asynchronous processes management within redundant control computers, actuator health status algorithms and reconfiguration logic.
- Ability to analyze complex system interactions for nominal and failure cases.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or SCADE.
- Experience in system development processes such as ARP‑4754A.
