We’re currently seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to take the helm of our technology team - someone who thrives on innovation, excels at leading cross-functional teams, and is driven to architect scalable, secure, cloud-native platforms, products, and services.

Your Mission :

As Engineering Team Leader , you will play a central role in defining and delivering the Service & Solution ecosystem and solutions. You will lead the design of scalable architectures, the implementation of cloud infrastructure, and manage cross-functional engineering and data teams to develop intelligent services, applications and value-added algorithms.

This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of software engineering, cloud architecture, and data operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud infrastructure, Applications, Data & Architecture

• Own and drive architectural decisions for Services & Solutions platform and data infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with both internal systems and external partners.
• Design and deliver scalable, resilient, cloud-native architectures on GCP and AWS to support vehicle connectivity and enable high-value services.
• Build and maintain robust, production-grade infrastructure to support both realtime and batch data processing at scale.
• Define and implement modern microservices and event-driven systems and applications
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices to enable fast, reliable, and automated deployments across environments.
• Integrate third party applications to cloud-native architectures as we scale our operations.

Data Engineering & Applied Intelligence

• Oversee the entire data lifecycle: from ingestion, cleaning, transformation, to modelling and operationalization.
• Lead teams of data engineers and data scientists in building robust ingestion pipelines, data lakes, and guide the development of AI/ML algorithms and intelligent features.

Technical Team Leadership

• Lead cross-functional development teams in building microservices-based applications using modern frameworks.
• Develop event-driven microservices using Spring Boot, Kotlin, frameworks.
• Coordinate with international stakeholders to align technical decisions with business priorities.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in cloud environments
• 5+ years of experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (event-driven architecture and microservices design patterns).
• 5+ years of experience developing with Kotlin / Java (Spring Boot) in enterprise environments
• 5+ years in data engineering
• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform architecture and implementation
• 3+ years of experience leading international, distributed development teams in Agile environments
• 3+ years’ experience in corporate startups/innovation teams.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
• Knowledge of IoT platforms and data ingestion systems
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business domains
• Problem-solving aptitude for complex technical challenges
• Fluent in English; additional languages (French/Dutch) are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Ability to work Agile and eager to learn & share
