Summary
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will support the Manager of Maintenance Services and oversee shift operations, staffing, and performance. The supervisor may manage up to ten technicians and is responsible for meeting service quality, financial, and safety objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Shop Location: Charlotte, NC 28227
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st Shift
Base Salary: $72,000 plus quarterly bonus incentive
Essential Functions
- Workflow management – plan and schedule work, assign tasks, track productivity, conduct shift meetings, and approve run sheets.
- Labor management – train, develop, and manage performance of all personnel.
- Customer management – maintain relationships, resolve issues, ensure vehicle uptime, and conduct visits as needed.
- Financial management – control maintenance budget, execute P&L objectives, approve purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and manage bill‑back processes.
- Quality management – perform inspections, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and maintain quality documentation.
- Asset management – oversee location appearance, recommend tooling, manage vehicle in/out‑service, and control parts inventory.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- 0 to 1 year’s experience with shop management systems (preferred).
- 1–3 years in a maintenance operations environment; substitute may be accepted.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (required).

Compensation Information
The position is salaried with a minimum and maximum base pay of $72,000. Eligibility for annual bonus, commission, or long‑term incentive is based on performance.
