A prestigious and high-performing investment banking boutique, consistently ranked among the top advisors in the European mid-market, is looking to expand its Paris team with the addition of an M&A Analyst and Associate . This is a unique opportunity to join a growing Fintech and FIG team working across high-impact transactions in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

The Opportunity:

As part of this team, you will be involved in all aspects of the deal lifecycle, from origination to execution, working closely with experienced senior bankers and high-calibre clients. The team has a strong pipeline of Fintech and Financial Services transactions, both domestic and cross-border, with deal sizes typically in the €20m–€300m range.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end execution of M&A transactions across FIG and Fintech sectors
• Financial modelling, valuation (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, etc.), and due diligence support
• Preparation of marketing materials (pitch books, IMs, teasers, etc.)
• Market research and analysis to support deal origination
• Direct exposure to clients, investors, and senior stakeholders from day one

Requirements:

• Native or fluent French speaker with strong written and verbal communication in English
• FIG or Fintech sector experience gained from a Transaction Services or M&A team (mid-market or lower mid-market preferred)
• Prior experience at a top-tier accountancy firm, boutique, or investment bank
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
• Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Team player with a proactive mindset and keen interest in the financial services sector
