About the Position
We are looking for a ** Client Solutions Engineer** to join our engineering-facing Client Solutions team.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems in production environments. You will work on the implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of a sophisticated Portfolio Management System (PMS), collaborating closely with software engineers, product teams and technical client teams.
You will gain hands‑on experience with enterprise software, APIs, databases, distributed systems and debugging while discovering how technology powers global financial markets.
Job Summary
The Client Solutions Engineer contributes to the successful deployment and operation of the Orchestrade platform by investigating technical issues, validating software behavior, supporting implementations and working closely with Engineering to deliver robust solutions.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues across the application stack
- Debug application behavior using logs, SQL queries, APIs and development tools
- Configure and customize the Orchestrade platform to meet client requirements
- Validate new features and participate in functional and regression testing
- Analyze production incidents, identify root causes and propose sustainable fixes
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Product Management and QA teams
- Support system integrations with third‑party applications and market infrastructure
- Optimize platform performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Document technical investigations, solutions and implementation best practices
- Interact with client technical teams during implementations and production support

Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in Software Engineering, Technical Support, Solutions Engineering or a similar technical role
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
- Good programming skills in an object‑oriented language (C#, Java, Python or similar)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON and system integrations
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Ability to understand complex software architectures and data flows
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Interest in enterprise software, distributed systems and financial technology
Nice to Have
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Exposure to cloud technologies or containerization (Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of scripting or automation
- Basic understanding of financial markets or trading systems
