This role is part of Ubisoft Vantage Studios, which is an Ubisoft entity that brings together three of the video game industry’s most iconic franchises, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six, with the mission of shaping and expanding them. It unites teams across multiple international studios to enhance creative autonomy, agility, and collaboration, while leveraging Ubisoft’s shared expertise, tools, and resources.

Job Description

Within Ubisoft Vantage Studios, working with the Director FP&A R&D, the Financial Planning Partner FP&A – R&D Processes and Analytics will support in structuring, standardizing, and enhancing financial processes and data‑driven insights across the R&D perimeter (Studios & Projects).

Your core mission is to strengthen analytical rigor, improve financial governance, and build scalable reporting frameworks that enhance visibility on cost drivers, investments, and project performance.

You’ll be part of HQ Vantage finance team (1 VP, 3 leads and 3 FP&A partners) and your position will imply close collaboration with Vantage, HQ & Shared Services operational and finance teams.

Responsibilities and duties will evolve with Vantage Studios operating model. Position located in Saint‑Mandé.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of standardized financial processes across Vantages Studios on both studios and projects side (Project Milestone, forecast cycle…)
  • Ensure consistency in budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation and investment tracking methodologies
  • Document and formalize key R&D finance workflows to ensure scalability and clarity
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across tools and reporting structures

Analytical Reviews & Financial Performance Monitoring

  • Conduct in-depth analytical reviews of studio and project financial performance
  • Perform structured variance analysis on actuals, forecasts cycle and other Group milestones
  • Identify risks, gaps and inconsistencies, and elevate findings with recommendations
  • Design and maintain R&D financial dashboards (cost evolution, investment tracking, milestone gaps, productivity indicators)
  • Improve data granularity and transparency across reporting tools
  • Automate recurring reporting cycles to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention
  • Translate finance and operational needs into structured dashboards

Qualifications

  • Sensitivity to the video game industry and understanding of creative production environments
  • Interest in R&D cost structures (capitalization, project lifecycle economics, resource allocation)
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills and strong process‑oriented mindset
  • Hands‑on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • Experience with process design or reporting transformation initiatives is a plus
  • Comfortable interacting with cross‑functional and international teams
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
