Job Summary
The Finance Manager will report to the Plant Controller, Regional Controller on a “dotted line” basis, he will manage a local team and work closely with shared services and other divisions. The Individual will be working in a fast-paced environment, working with larger business operations organization (e.g. Finance & Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, HRBR, etc).
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the local accounting team (develop skills & knowledge).
- Work closely with shared service team to ensure accuracy of the data and provide guidance and process improvements as needed.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow, monitor expenses, and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Manage Month end/year end processes including the preparation of journals and validation of accounts. Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statement, in local and US Gaap.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with Local / US Gaap accounting standards, internal control policies, and procedures defined at National, Regional & Global Level.
- Prepare & manage accurate and in-timely tax (VAT..), customs and social filings.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to support business requirements.
- Liaise with auditors (external/internal), tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Perform and support any ad-hoc financial analysis and projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in accounting or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in finance, accounting or related role(5 / 10 years).
- Advanced knowledge of French Accounting and Tax related legislation.
- Excellent Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERPs.
- Working in an industrial environment & international environment would be a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal (French & English are mandatory), and Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholder.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Shows the ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
