Financial Controller (M/F/X) - Apprenticeship
Within the Finance team, you will work in close collaboration with Emilia, our Head of Finance, on high-impact financial steering topics. At the heart of your mission: management control. You will participate in budget construction, forecasting exercises, and in-depth P&L analysis. You will also contribute to the implementation of reporting tools—dashboards, BI, AI agents—designed to enlighten strategic decision-making.
You will also be anchored in the operational realities of finance, supporting the flows and processes that guarantee the accuracy of the accounts.
This apprenticeship is designed for those who wish to train for the role of Financial Controller, where analytical rigor and data mastery make the difference in a demanding and challenging environment.
You main missions
1. Management Control & Budgetary Steering
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of budgets and reforecasts.
- Participate in the preparation of financial forecasts: data collection from teams, consolidation, and critical analysis.
- Analyze variances between budget and actuals, identify P&L (Profit and Loss) impacts, and propose areas for improvement.
- Support the structuring of economic and financial arguments for discussions with internal stakeholders.
2. Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Implementation, automation, and contribution to the improvement of analysis and reporting tools.
- Participate in the monthly closing and the analysis of financial statements to identify trends and profitability levers.
- Contribute to the production of financial reporting and management dashboards.
- Monitor key indicators (KPIs) and perform projections.
3. Relations with Financial Partners
- Contribute to exchanges with our accounting firms, legal advisors, and other external service providers.
- Prepare the elements and analyses necessary for these interactions and participate in drafting the associated summaries and reports.
4. Compliance & Internal Control
- Take part in the preparation of audits.
- Contribute to compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
- Participate in the improvement and implementation of internal control procedures.
5. Finance & Office Management
- Ensure the budgetary monitoring of Office Management expenses.
- Manage and track the fixed asset inventory.
This apprenticeship is for those who wish to build a transversal vision of corporate finance. You will benefit from direct mentoring by Emilia, both on technical aspects—modeling, data analysis—and on the understanding of business challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master 2 Student in Finance, Audit, Management Control, or Corporate Finance
At least 1 year of cumulative experience in Management Control, Audit, or Accounting (internships or apprenticeships)
Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets : Pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation ✅
Rigorous, curious , with an eye for detail and a desire to understand the "story behind the numbers"
High level of integrity and discretion , comfortable in a demanding and collaborative environment
