About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Financial Controller to join our Finance team in Meyreuil.
As Finance Business Partner for the Business Line, you will provide financial controlling support, deliver meaningful business insights and contribute to improved financial performance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an international environment.
The role is particularly suited to a structured and analytical finance professional with at least five years of experience in controlling, accounting and/or audit. Experience in the microelectronics industry would be an advantage.
Your Responsibilities
Depending on business priorities and the time of year, your main responsibilities will include:
- Acting as Finance Business Partner for the Business Line, providing financial controlling support and helping drive business performance.
- Building strong working relationships with Vice Presidents and other senior stakeholders.
- Providing financial insights and strategic support for business decision-making.
- Performing business analyses and delivering accurate financial reporting to support value creation.
- Monitoring and explaining key financial indicators, including gross margin, profitability and overall business performance.
- Leading the monthly forecasting process, ensuring reliable financial projections and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Participating in the Annual Operating Plan process.
- Monitoring operating expenses on a monthly basis and analysing variances against budget and forecast.
- Managing cost-controlling activities and supporting cost-optimisation initiatives.
- Preparing and contributing to internal financial reporting, ensuring the timely and accurate communication of financial performance to senior management and shareholders.
- Leading or supporting cross-functional projects related to finance transformation, business process improvement and IT implementations.
- Supporting inventory control and valuation in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
- Ensuring the consistency, accuracy and integrity of financial models, analytical tools, reports and databases.
- Using business intelligence and ERP tools to improve reporting and decision-making.
- Continuously identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, equivalent to Bac +5.
- At least five years of experience in controlling, accounting and/or audit in an international environment.
- Experience in the microelectronics or another industrial environment is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
- Excellent organisational skills and a rigorous, structured approach to work.
- Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Power BI or another business intelligence tool is preferred.
- Experience with an ERP system is required; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. <
- An international mindset and the ability to work collaboratively across functions and countries.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- English spoken and written compulsory.
Location & Travel
This role is eligible for Flexible Working From Home (FWFH) on occasions in agreement with the direct Manager, but will mostly be based at our office. The role will be based at our office in Mereuil, Provence, France. Occasional travel to our other offices for customer projects may be required.
