Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in Paris. This role is central to driving business performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing our Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical expertise, particularly with NetSuite and Power BI, and a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable financial insights.
We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in Paris. This role is central to driving business performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing our Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical expertise, particularly with NetSuite and Power BI, and a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain financial models (e.g., budgeting, forecasting) to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and provide clear explanations of performance drivers.
- Prepare and automate recurring financial reports, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management and executive stakeholders.
- Leverage large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- BI Development & Tool Enhancement:
- Actively assist in the development and improvement of the BI platform, specifically focusing on Power BI.
- Help design new data sources, build automated reports, and optimize data flows between NetSuite and analytical tools.
- Act as a power user of our financial systems, driving efficiency and data quality improvements.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with operational and business leaders to understand their financial needs, review performance, and provide financial guidance on projects and investments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a highly analytical finance role. Candidates must have an initial professional background in one of the following areas:
- External Audit (Big Four or similar)
- Transaction Services (TS) / Due Diligence
- Corporate FP&A
- Education: Master's degree from a top-tier Engineering School or Business School, with a focus on Finance.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced Excel modeling is mandatory.
- Strong expertise and practical experience with Power BI.
- Familiarity and working experience with a major ERP system such as NetSuite.
- Experience with BI or any other EPM tools for efficient data extraction and analysis is a significant advantage.
- Analytical Skills: strong analytical and very detail oriented
