A multi-faceted, “hands-on” role where you will be a key member of a small team with the opportunity to learn a broad range of financial and accounting aspects of running a manufacturing site operating within the structure of a top, global company.
What You Can Expect
Ensure all accounting entries are complete, accurate, and posted in a timely manner for month-end reporting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Prepare and submit VAT filings in accordance with deadlines.
Prepare the monthly closing function, account reconciliations, and related analysis of production cost and variance from standard cost. Interpret and provide analysis for local and corporate management.
Manage the payroll entries and ensure accuracy in accordance with payroll documentation.
Lead annual planning cycle and monthly projections for the site, including cost preparation and financial analysis and partner with the operating team on cost savings, KPIs, and other decision support.
Inform the Chambord Operations and Finance Manager and Controller Brown‑Forman Bottling and Chambord about possible gaps in the controlling environment and develop recommendations to resolve.
Lead the statutory audit and financial reporting process to support group compliance and other legal entity reporting standards.
Perform other financial duties as assigned in the task distribution list.
What You Bring to the Table
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Business.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Good command of oral and written English.
Strong Excel skills, with current proficiency (or the ability to quickly develop it) in Google Suite.
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and variance analysis.
Proven knowledge of VAT regulations and GAAP rules and regulations.
Proven track record of the ability to independently prepare financial analysis with accuracy and within an established timeframe and to work with ambiguous situations with little supervision.
