Job Description
Vallourec is looking for a Finance Transformation Manager (R2R) to join its headquarters in Meudon (Paris, France).
As part of the Group Finance organization, the Finance Transformation Manager (R2R) will support the transformation of Finance processes and contribute to the evolution of the systems supporting those processes.
The role acts as a key interface between Finance teams, IT teams and external partners to ensure the successful design, deployment and adoption of solutions that meet business needs.
Position Context
To support Finance in achieving its 2030 ambition, Vallourec continues to transform its Finance processes, systems and operating model.
As the number of Finance transformation initiatives continues to grow, it has become essential to strengthen internal capabilities dedicated to process transformation, project delivery and business support.
The Finance organization is currently managing numerous projects related to Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, financial closing and reporting optimization, regulatory compliance and the evolution of Finance platforms and systems.
This role has been created to reinforce Finance transformation capabilities, support strategic projects and ensure alignment between business requirements and supporting technologies.
The position offers broad exposure to Finance, IT and transformation topics within an international environment.
Main Responsibilities
Drive Finance Process Transformation
- Support the evolution and optimization of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial close, reporting and accounting production processes.
- Lead or contribute to Finance transformation projects.
- Support Finance teams in defining and formalizing business requirements.
Examples of Projects
- Harmonization and redesign of Finance processes and methodologies.
- Compliance with new accounting and regulatory requirements (including IFRS 18).
- Optimization of flows and interfaces between Finance systems.
- Transformation of financial closing and reporting processes.
- Deployment and enhancement of Finance solutions such as BlackLine, SAP, BFC, EPM and other Finance platforms.
Lead Finance & Information Systems Projects
- Manage projects from scoping through deployment.
- Coordinate Finance, IT, integrators and external stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, risks and dependencies.
- Facilitate governance meetings and steering committees.
- Support testing, training, change management and solution adoption.
Finance / IT Interface
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Contribute to ERP and Finance systems transformation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement of existing tools and processes.
- Ensure alignment between Finance needs and system capabilities.
Profile
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience .
- Significant experience in Finance transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
