Overview
Airbus Commercial seeks a Finance Reporting and Planning Systems Specialist (f/m) to join our Finance Transformation team in Toulouse, France. The specialist will serve as the voice of the Finance function, translating business strategy into functional design specifications and ensuring our digital tools are intuitive, high‑performing, and aligned with evolving strategic needs.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Process Architecture & Functional Product Design
- Design and document end‑to‑end best‑practice workflows for global planning and reporting.
- Partner with the Financial Controlling Department to understand reporting and analysis needs.
- Translate complex business logic into concise functional requirements and design specifications.
- Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and recommend enhancements.
- Project Leadership & Solution Design
- Act as the primary functional expert on implementation teams during system selections and global rollouts.
- Evaluate vendors and validate that the solution meets functional requirements.
- Design comprehensive User Acceptance Testing scripts and lead functional testing.
- Manage prioritisation and release cycle for functional system enhancements.
- Adoption, Training, and Community Engagement
- Build, mentor, and lead a global community of system super‑users/power users.
- Lead change‑management efforts for new processes and deployments, driving adoption and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain user guides, SOPs, and training curricula; deliver workshops and training globally.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or business operations with focus on planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
- Proven track record in multinational implementations of enterprise financial planning or reporting tools (e.g., SAP BPC, IBM PA).
- Experience leading projects focused on process standardisation, simplification, and digitisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build partnerships and influence senior leaders.
- Strong collaborative and team‑playing ability, bringing diverse groups together.
- Analytical mindset with systematic problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities and manage multiple high‑visibility projects.
- Fluency in English.
