Finance Manager
Role Description The Finance Manager role at SAFRA Investments is a full-time, on-site position based at Albi, in the Occitanie Region (80Km from Toulouse). The individual in this role oversees day-to-day financial operations, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and monitoring of financial performance against targets. Responsibilities include preparing accurate financial statements and reports, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, and maintaining strong internal controls. The Finance Manager collaborates with senior leadership to provide financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations that inform strategic decisions and investment initiatives. The role also involves coordinating with external partners such as banks, auditors, and regulators, as well as mentoring and guiding members of the finance team.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting principles, and preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other key reports.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including variance analysis and scenario modeling.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and best practices in internal controls and risk management.
- Advanced skills using financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, accounting platforms, and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, concise insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build productive relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring team members and managing finance projects or initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site at Albi and in the Greater Paris Metropolitan Region and operate effectively in an international, multicultural environment.
