Finance Manager

Role Description This full-time, on-site Finance Manager role is based in Paris and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of Ashi Studio. The Finance Manager will prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. This role will manage budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and develop financial models to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports for the CEO and ownership
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budget planning across all business units
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation
• Monitor and control operational expenses, flagging variances and recommending corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with French GAAP and applicable tax regulations

Payroll & HR Finance

• Coordinate monthly payroll in collaboration with the HR Manager and external social secretariat
• Ensure compliance with CCN Couture Parisienne (IDCC 303) and French labor code requirements
• Manage employee expense claims and reimbursements
• Track and process contractor and freelance invoices

Vendor & Contract Finance

• Manage vendor payment schedules and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Review and validate financial terms in supplier contracts and service agreements
• Oversee show production budgets and post-event financial reconciliations
• Support procurement decisions with cost-benefit analysis

Compliance & Audit

• Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors
• Ensure timely VAT declarations, corporate tax filings, and other statutory obligations
• Maintain internal controls and financial procedures
• Support annual statutory audit process
