Finance Business Partner – Costs and Capex

Your Mission & Responsibilities Ahead Of You
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in our ongoing efforts to help drive the future global growth and steering of GANNI towards our business objectives. You will be a part of a fast‑growing, global brand on a mission to hack the fashion system. As a Finance Business Partner on Costs and Capex, you will have the opportunity to get a full 360‑degree understanding of the fundamentals of the fashion business – from analyzing production and logistics costs to identify performance improvement levers, to reviewing investment business cases and tracking capex budgets. Together with the rest of the Business Finance team, you will act as a trusted advisor to the organization. You will be working at our brand new office in central Paris and will be part of a team with strong ties to the CFO and budget holders across regions, channels, and functions.
Our ambition is to drive commercial and financial performance by turning data into actionable insights, ensuring transparency and awareness of performance across the entire organization. You will drive and contribute to:
- Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting: Build frameworks, deliver in‑depth analysis, and lead reporting that uncovers trends, risks, and opportunities. Areas of focus are:
- Costs of Goods Sold, in liaison with Collection Merchandising and Supply Chain
- Freight (in and outbound), in liaison with Logistics
- Fixed costs (IT, Staff, Services, General expenses, etc.), in liaison with each Head of Department
- Financial sparring partner to the group Chief Product Officer and the Head of Logistics: analytical deep‑dives, performance improvement plans
- Reliable and accurate budgeting/forecasting and controlling of the full P&L of these areas.
- On capex (Retail, IT mainly), in liaison with the relevant Heads of department:
- Define yearly budgets and control implementation
- Support in the creation of business cases
- Process, Tools, and Performance Management: Shape dashboards, KPIs, and governance to create transparency, streamline financial workflows, and collaborate closely with management to ensure insights drive efficiency, profitability, and operational excellence.
Must Have Requirements
- MSc Economics or diploma in business administration or similar background.
- Hands‑on experience working as Cost Controller for at least a couple of years.
- Expert user of Excel including experience with analyses and complex modeling – both financial and commercial. Experience with Google Sheets is a plus.
- Experience from the fashion industry and/or related experience from other industries such as FMCG or similar is a plus.
