Responsibilities
- Drive gross margin performance by balancing volume growth with sustainable profitability.
- Conduct monthly reviews of vehicle pricing, product mix, and margin analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain business cases and financial models to support strategic initiatives and market entry decisions.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and end‑of‑year processes. Revenue Controlling & Margin Management. Develop and monitor pricing and margin analysis processes.
- Support fleet, leasing, and key account deals with clear financial assessments, including residual value (RV) risk.
- Act as a finance partner in commercial discussions (e.g. campaigns, recovery plans), ensuring data‑driven decisions.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to HQ policies, strategies, processes, and governance in the French market.
- Lead or support cross‑functional initiatives to improve processes, internal controls, and operations.
- Support system enhancements and ensure alignment between Finance, Business, and IT.
- Set up and maintain project trackers, ensuring accountability, deadlines, and follow‑up on critical initiatives.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment for revenue, discounts, and costs, aligning controlling and accounting perspectives.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, or finance business partnering roles, with clear exposure to commercial and operational decision‑making.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, revenue recognition, and month‑end processes, ensuring financial results accurately reflect business reality.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Attention to detail combined with a strategic perspective, ensuring both operational execution and long‑term objectives are supported.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs in a fast paced environment.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Powerpoint.
- Familiar with Power BI or other BI tools.
