Position Summary
Financial Analyst Intern
As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will work hand‑in‑hand with the Finance Manager on a wide range of topics across operations, reporting, modeling, and strategic projects. Your scope will be broad, demanding, and rich in learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the construction and optimization of financial models and internal tools.
- Take part in cross‑functional projects with other teams and in the preparation of internal or external audits.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and dashboards used by the executive team and investors.
- Assist in the preparation of our monthly and annual closing in coordination with our external accountant.
- Participate in tax compliance processes (e.g., VAT, CFE, payroll‑related taxes) and interact with external stakeholders (accountants, auditors, tax advisors).
- Monitor invoicing and cash position, and help ensure effective financial flows.
- Help with supplier management, cost tracking, and contract analysis to improve our cost structure.
- Take ownership of recurring deliverables such as our monthly financial updates.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a top‑tier business or engineering school (or equivalent), with a strong interest in corporate finance, accounting, or financial strategy.
- Experience: Previous internship or project experience in finance, accounting, audit, consulting, VC/PE, or startups (a plus, not a must).
- Analytical & technical skills: Comfortable working with spreadsheets and ideally already worked on or built financial models. Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Autonomy & mindset: Rigorous, curious, and eager to learn. Enjoy working across topics and solving problems from the ground up.
- Communication: Clear and concise communication, and enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Availability: In the final year of study and looking for a full‑time end‑of‑studies internship.
