Finance & Administration Manager - France based
Sistech supports refugee and displaced women into qualified and sustainable tech jobs across France, Italy and Greece.
Since 2018, we have supported 980 women from 50+ nationalities across France, Italy and Greece, with 70% reaching positive outcomes . As we grow across three countries and diversify how we are funded, our finance and administration need to become sharper, more structured, and more autonomous.
We are hiring a Finance & Administration Manager to own that: cashflow, budget, accounting, compliance and administration across our three entities.
This role requires real familiarity with the French administrative system (payroll, social contributions, tax), since you will be based in France and our French entity is the core of our administration. You will also work across our Italian and Greek entities t hrough external providers, and own our cashflow and budget forecast.
What you'll own
- Cashflow, budget and accounting across our three entities, working with our external accounting firms
- Financial reporting for the Board, General Assemblies, and our public and private funders
- The financial side of EU-funded projects: eligibility, audit trail, reporting to lead partners
- The finance setup for our upcoming commercial activity: client invoicing, VAT, lucrative vs non-lucrative
- Legal and governance admin: compliance across three entities, contracts, Board and GA paperwork
- Coordination of our external providers (accountants, banks, auditors, payroll firms) and HR administration
What we're looking for
- 7+ years in finance and administration, with real ownership of budget and cashflow, in a multi-entity or international context
- Solid knowledge of the French administrative system: payroll, social contributions, tax, compliance
- Someone who owns the numbers rather than supports them, and delegates rather than doing everything alone
- Comfortable with legal texts without being a lawyer, and tech-savvy enough to automate and simplify
- Fluent in French, working comfortably in English every day across three countries
Location and contract
This position is open only to candidates with EU citizenship or equivalent legal authorisation to work, and who are based in France . The role is offered under a permanent employment contract.
