In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for full‑time professors in Finance at the Assistant, Associate or Full level (Lille Campus, starting September 2026). They will be part of the department of “Finance”. The ideal candidates will have proven expertise in one of the following fields:
- International Finance
- Financial Economics (especially with a focus on the macro‑economic environment and monetary policy)
- AI in Finance/NLP Methods
Knowledge of Bloomberg, experience in Executive teaching, or the ability to teach in French are additional assets for the position.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Research will be a strong focus of the selected candidate as they will contribute to the vibrant research community at IESEG through a commitment to research excellence. They are expected to hold a PhD, have a strong publication record (or potential for Assistant Professors) in top‑tier refereed journals listed in AJG, and maintain a strong international network.
In terms of teaching, the selected candidate will teach courses in Finance at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. They will also contribute to the development of the department’s programs. We require strong teaching skills and fluency in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Professional experience and knowledge of French are a plus, but not a requirement.

Applicants for the position of Assistant Professor are expected to have the potential to secure publications in top‑tier refereed journals in the near future. For an appointment at the Associate/Full Professor level, applicants are additionally required to have extensive higher education teaching experience, a strong publication record in top‑tier referees, and good networks in academia and/or professional circles at regional and international levels.
