Field Tech – South Brittany/Morbihan – FR
You will support the Phagos Product team and play a key role in the company’s success. Under the supervision of Manon, our Head of Product, and in collaboration with our livestock technicians and the sales team, you will be responsible for deploying an innovative solution by implementing phage therapy in various types of livestock farms and contributing to the expansion of Phagos’ applications and research expertise. Main responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate field deployments in conjunction with scientific teams, veterinarians and farmers.
- Carry out sampling and surveys in livestock farming, collect data, contribute to its analysis and communicate the results to stakeholders.
- Ensure the implementation of the phage solution in livestock farms, manage the equipment and resources necessary for the various deployments.
- Ensure that usage protocols are followed and address any deviations or problems. Conduct regular follow‑ups on farms and map the needs of target clients (farmers, veterinarians, producer organizations), enabling the scientific and product teams to improve the solution and identify new market opportunities for the sales team.
- Pre-sales support and customer relations: Participate in the preparation of technical pitches and sales proposals for strategic partners (farmers, veterinarians, livestock technicians) in collaboration with the sales team. Provide ongoing support to farmers by ensuring regular and proactive follow‑up aimed at building loyalty.
Preferred experience
- Experience as a livestock technician or similar position. Entry‑level candidates accepted.
- Experienced in conducting field trials and/or working directly with livestock (poultry, pigs, cattle). Comfortable performing animal sampling (necropsies).
- Willing to travel frequently between different farms.
- Good relationship with stakeholders in the agricultural sector (farmers, veterinarians, technicians).
- A passion for sales and customer relations
- Autonomous, able to organize and adapt to unexpected situations.
- Ability to work with remote teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and constantly evolving startup environment.
- English level: B2 (International team, working language: English)
- Position available in the Brittany region to cover the area. No local offices. Headquarters in the Île-de-France region.
