Field Specialist Analytical Engineer

Summary of Role

The Field Service Engineer instrumentation will be performing startup and commissioning, diagnostics, curative and preventive maintenance at customer sites for our analysis products and gas metering solution. The Field Service engineer is responsible for executing the scheduled work according to the Emerson standards of safety and quality.

Principle Job Responsibilities

• Helpdesk
• Startup and commissioning
• Maintenance
• Calibration
• Provide technical support to customers
• Perform emergency call‑out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services
• Execute the requested job in the best way to meet customer deadlines and expectations
• Keep workshop/workplace tidy, in order and representative
• Communicate issues concerning customer satisfaction or customer requests for Emerson support to the responsible person in Service Management or Sales Management
• Tutoring customer training
• Execute all work (all repairs, installations, training, etc.) in accordance with each division's guidelines
• Adhere to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
• Adhere to company and customer HSEQ standards at all times

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in an engineering discipline, such as mechanical, electrical, computer science, or control systems (minimum technical college level)
• Relevant experience from process industry such as Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Refineries
• Good communication skills; fluent in English written and spoken
