Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems, including but not limited to generator sets and balance of plant equipment
• Maintain, analyze, assess, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various OEM scopes as installed at client sites
• Perform minor and major overhauls
• Assist the Service Area Manager (SAM) in establishing parts and labour estimates required for equipment and system repairs
• Maintain, establish and identify service vehicle tooling/parts requirements
• Provide technical expertise to the SAM or an alternate
• Complete detailed Field Service reports before leaving a client site and submit expenses weekly to the SAM or an alternate
• Proactively prepare material lists for preventive and corrective work
• Proactively review assigned materials necessary for maintenance actions, informing the SAM/purchasing if further materials are required
• Serve as reference point for the client and ensure continuous and correct operation of the plant
• Maintain the plant in clean and tidy conditions

Qualifications

• Technical diploma/degree
• Minimum 3/5 years of experience in maintenance
• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical drawing
• Good knowledge of human-machine interfaces and devices such as PLCs, inverters, transducers, digital and analog signals (e.g. 4–20 mA and 0–10 V)
• Engine, mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
• Ability to use troubleshooting tools
• Flexibility
• Availability to travel (average nights out 10 per month)
• Reliable and curious professional
• Driver's license required
• Work authorization in the country required
