Overview
ASML develops lithography machines that are critical for producing faster, cheaper, and more energy‑efficient microchips. In this role, you will ensure that ASML systems at customer sites run smoothly 24/7, supporting our leading chipmakers worldwide.
Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of ASML systems at the customer site. Your main tasks are:
- Diagnose, analyze and solve complex technical problems
- Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of equipment
- Implement software and hardware updates
- Work autonomously and, when necessary, collaborate with direct managers and technical experts
- Develop a solid relationship with the client, providing technical assistance, advice and training
- Collaborate on various projects within the team and the company
- Work in a clean‑room environment under strict hygiene and safety conditions
- Travel up to 10% to other satellite sites (e.g., xFAB Paris, ST Agrate, ST Rousset)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with ASML systems
- Upper‑intermediate (B2) proficiency in English; French is an advantage
Skills
- Analytical mind and strong problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication, including presentation skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations internally and externally using Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
- Effective team collaboration
- Dynamic, proactive, autonomous with a strong motivation to acquire new knowledge
