Job Description
Join our dynamic team at TOMRA Food as a Field Service Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cutting-edge food sorting systems. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the challenge of providing top-notch customer service, encompassing commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimisation, maintenance, training, and repair activities primarily in France.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Efficiently deliver field service work to meet cost and time objectives.
- Ensure optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to exceed customer expectations.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, conducting necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer support processes.
- Conduct installations and adjustments to TOMRA Food equipment as required.
- Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operations and maintenance of our systems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed field reports to guide administrative follow-up procedures.
- Domestic travel up to 80% of the time
Qualifications
- Technical training to BAC+2 level in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- Fluent in French and able to understand spoken and written English (min. B2) ismandatory for this role. Other languages are a plus.
- Proven experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting industrial customers.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel or flexible working hours.
- Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
