The Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Field Scientist for Cytiva is responsible for providing technical pre- and post-sales support for the integration of Cytiva filtration technologies into customer processes in collaboration with the commercial team and R&D. This position is part of the EU Filtration Customer Success (FCS) team and will be fully remote preferably Paris or Lyon.

Responsibilities

• Apply Cytiva Bioprocess filtration products (normal flow filtration and tangential flow filtration) to create innovative process solutions.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, technical consultations, customer training, and bench-scale trials.
• Maintain close customer engagement throughout projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to customer sites for technical meetings, test work execution, technical presentations, and project reviews.
• Provide technical consultation involving scale-up and scale-down studies, testing plans, data analysis, process sizing and compatibility recommendations, troubleshooting, and field investigations.

Essential Requirements

• Education Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering field.
• Experience 3+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry within MSAT, Process Development, Manufacturing, or a related technical function.
• Customer Support Experience Experience providing technical support and working directly with customers.
• French Language Fluent French (written and spoken).
• English Language Business-level English (written and spoken).
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Knowledge of the regulatory framework for drug manufacturing and biopharmaceutical production. Knowledge of purification and filtration techniques used in bioprocessing and drug manufacturing. Proficiency in an additional European language (e.g., German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, or another European language).
• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support customers across Europe, with a particular focus on French-speaking territories and other key European markets.
