Field Network Engineer

Field Network Engineer – France, Lille – Permanent Contract

New opportunity for a Field Network Engineer to take on a permanent role in Northern France, with related travel requirements around the country. Our client is a growing brand in the datacentre market with a key on AI cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will use your network and infrastructure experience to identify, troubleshoot and resolve network‑related issues at various datacentre sites, working alongside expert colleagues covering hardware and software and AI environments.

What You’ll Do

• Supporting the deployment of new infrastructure for existing and upcoming sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network‑related issues.
• Manage and coordinate remote IT operations.
• Travel for on‑site installations and technical support.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams and external contractors.

What you’ll need

• Extensive experience in technical problem‑solving as a Field Engineer or similar.
• Strong understanding of network technologies, including data center, server and network equipment.
• Proficiency in IT hardware components, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French language would be an asset.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business trips.
