Future Electronics is looking for a Generalist Field Application Engineer to join our Advanced Engineering team in Toulouse. The position offers a highly competitive salary and benefits.

What the role involves

• Exposing and training on the portfolio of leading semiconductor manufacturers.
• Working with and recommending engineering solutions to original equipment manufacturers across automotive, industrial, military, commercial, medical, solid-state lighting, and other sectors.
• Providing applications and design solutions to the company’s customer base using knowledge from education, experience, and training seminars from manufacturers.
• Collaborating with Advanced Engineers, Engineering Managers, and suppliers as part of a comprehensive training and mentoring program.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Degree in Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum five years of design experience either in the field or with an electronics company.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive, results‑driven approach.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills.
• Passionate about helping other engineers bring successful projects to market.
