Field Application Engineer

Overview

Can you find, lead and architect the right solutions to our customers’ technical challenges? From pre-sales to after-service and support, you will take the ownership of design, validating and delivering advanced solutions, acting as a key technical person and trusted advisor for customers and our internal team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex technical tasks and customer issues, from requirements understanding to solution delivery
• Design and implement end-to-end technical solutions, leveraging in-house lab capabilities and available resources
• Support customer interactions with strong technical expertise, including presentations, workshops, and technical discussions
• Develop and maintain proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and advanced demos based on latest technologies
• Build solid working relationships with customers, acting as a reliable technical point of contact
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced and escalated issues, both remotely and on-site
• Provide feedback from the field to internal teams (product management, R&D) to improve products and solutions
• Stay up to date on relevant technologies and industry trends, applying them to daily activities

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in Field Application Engineering or similar technical customer-facing roles
• In-depth knowledge of x86 and/or RISC architectures
• Solid expertise in BIOS, Windows, Linux (e.g. Ubuntu), and system-level troubleshooting
• Proven experience in complex solution design and technical problem solving
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Customer-oriented mindset with a high level of autonomy and accountability
• Experience working in international and cross-cultural environments (experience with Asian culture is a plus)
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus
