Overview
EM Sales – Analyst/Associate – Supports the EM Fixed Income sales team by engaging clients for EM Rates and Credit / Flow and Structured products.
Responsibilities
- Support the EM Fixed Income sales team by covering clients for EM Rates and Credit / Flow and Structured products.
- Liaise regularly with Salespeople, Traders, Operations, Regulatory, BURM and IT to ensure smooth front‑to‑back workflow.
- Build models for the desk.
- Provide administrative support and manage post‑trade queries.
- Execute general desk support and ad‑hoc requests.
Qualifications
- Investment Banking experience, ideally within a Rates/Credit environment, with a strong Operations/Middle‑office background.
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Excellent Excel knowledge; proficiency with formulas mandatory.
- Exceptional communication skills; must thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Great attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability.
- Broad understanding of current regulatory developments in Investment Banking.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French, German or Italian considered an advantage.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Degree in a STEM subject (Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering).
- Certified regulatory qualifications may be required; the role is designated as a Certified role.
Regulatory Requirements
This role is a Certified role and may require the holder to possess mandatory regulatory qualifications or meet the mandatory internal benchmarks mandated by the firm.
