FHS- Repair Manager (M/F)
Job Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Repair Manager (f/m) to join our Repair management team based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing essential Component Exchange programs for major airlines globally. As part of the Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS) team, you will be involved in managing FHS customers' critical situations involving Repair Suppliers, aiming at ensuring the suppliers are delivering on time, cost and quality, by developing strong and stable relationships.

Responsibilities
- COST: Challenge and validate suppliers' commercial quotations, in line with procurement guidelines (flat rate, Time & Material, Power‑By‑the‑Hour (PBH)). Create justification dossiers to recharge customers in case of Customer Induced Damages (CID). Contribute to achieving the global FHS Repair cost target.
- LEAD TIME: Ensure that the supplier is repairing and delivering parts in due time according to its contractual obligations. Identify root causes of delays, prioritise AOG and critical customer requests.
- QUALITY: Organise regular conference calls and meetings with the suppliers to address open issues, repair status, backlog situation and data reconciliation. Ensure that the Supplier respects technical standards (SB, upgrades...), work scopes (minor, major, repair...) and certification (EASA, FAA, CAAS). Manage quarantines on parts returned from the shop.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving within Repair Operations while working closely with the method and tool team to guarantee the quality of the data in the system.
- INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION: Act as the main point of contact for the operations desk, organise on‑site supplier visits, challenge performances that do not meet the required level, and work in a widely international environment with colleagues in Europe (mainly Toulouse, France), Asia (mainly Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and the USA (Miami).
Qualifications
- +5 years experience in Supply Chain Negotiation skills, results oriented, and the ability to work with short deadlines and in a fast‑changing environment.
- Team spirit, leadership, good communication skills, and an international environment mindset.
- Technical background to challenge quotations and use the CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) alongside good negotiation skills.
- Maintenance Part 145 knowledge (will be a plus).
- English negotiation level (spoken, written, influencing).
