Detailed description of the job

A wonderful international family is looking for an exceptional Family Assistant and Child Companion to join them on a long-term basis. This is a unique opportunity for an energetic, organised and caring professional who enjoys working closely with children while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy household.

The role is based between France and the USA, with frequent international travel. A separate private apartment is provided in both locations.

The position is to start as soon as possible.

The Role

Your primary focus will be caring for and engaging with the family's young son, creating fun, educational and active days filled with outdoor play, cycling, reading, creative activities, sports and new experiences.

In addition, you will assist with the family's daily routine by:

• Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the child.
• Grocery shopping and running errands.
• Packing for daily activities and helping organise the child's belongings.
• Assisting with the general organisation of the household and supporting the family's daily schedule.

The family employs dedicated housekeeping staff, so this is not a housekeeping position. Only light day-to-day tidying related to the child is expected.

Working Schedule

The schedule is flexible according to the family's needs, typically from 7:00/7:30 am until approximately 8:00 pm, with appropriate breaks during the day.
