Facility Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform 5×8 IDC (Internet Data Center) on-site duties as per Client requirements. Be able to arrive on-site promptly outside working hours in accordance with the IT operations incident management guidelines.
• Update and maintain infrastructure information with 100% accuracy, regularly check platform alarm settings, and monitor system availability and stability.
• Be familiar with the IDC environment and monitoring systems, and conduct facility inspections as per client’s requirements, including but not limited to facility status checks, maintenance/repair MOP (Method of Procedure) review, and follow-up.
• Respond quickly and arrive on-site according to IT operations incident management guidelines, handling incidents promptly following EOP (Emergency Operation Procedure) and reporting them accordingly.
• Have a strong understanding of IDC infrastructure, including power supply, HVAC, and low-voltage electrical systems, and be able to quickly locate faults and restore services in case of an incident.
• Be knowledgeable in infrastructure monitoring, capacity management, security management, and availability management to improve operational efficiency.
• Independently create and implement change MOPs, ensuring no incidents occur due to operational changes.
• Complete other tasks as outlined in the Service Contract, Outsourcing Requirement Specification, and related attachments.

Educational Background:

• Degree Requirement: Full-time associate degree or equivalent and above.
• Major Requirement: Electrical engineering, HVAC, or related fields.

Work Experience:

• Industry Knowledge: At least 1 year of experience.
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of infrastructure and IDC operations.
